If you have not yet installed the True Link mobile app on your smartphone, please review this article here.
When opening the mobile app for the first time you will be presented with two options.
- The option at the top, "I Use A True Link Visa Card,” allows cardholders to access their accounts. If you are a beneficiary with an ALR managing your Card, tap the green button that says "Use last 4 digits of card number. You will be prompted to enter the last four digits of your Card. Once entered, you will also be asked to provide the last four digits of your Social Security number and date of birth.
- If you are the Authorized Legal Representative (ALR) for the Card or a beneficiary managing your own card, tap the green button that says “Use email & password” under the “I Manage a True Link Account” section.
After entering your log in information, you will have the option to tap “Remember Me,” which will save your email address to this screen for the next time you log in or use biometric login features.
If your smartphone supports biometric authentication, such as using your face or fingerprint to unlock your smartphone, you will have the ability to use this with our mobile app. Using this will allow you to log in by authenticating with your face or fingerprint instead of having to enter your information each time you open the app.
While the biometric authentication method may vary from the example below based on your smartphone, this screen will look generally like the image below. If you would like to use biometric authentication, click the green button that appears on your screen. The next time you open the mobile app, you will need to type in your password one more time. After that, you can just use your face or fingerprint to log in from then on.
This feature is completely optional. If you’d prefer not to use biometric authentication and to instead enter your information each time you log in, you can click “Skip” below the confirmation button.
