Every cardholder's Visa® Prepaid Card has its own Account tab on the online dashboard. The Account tab is where you can:
- Temporarily deactivate the Card, or order a replacement Card
- Close a Card
- Update the cardholder's address and phone number
In this article, you'll learn how to find the Account tab for a cardholder you manage and what you'll see once you're there.
Before you begin
- You'll need to be signed in to the online dashboard. Each plan has its own sign-in page. If you're not sure where to sign in, see How to Log In Online.
- You'll need full access to make changes. Only users with full access can deactivate, replace, or close a Card. If you have read-only access, please ask a user with full access on your account to complete these steps.
How to navigate to the Account tab
The first page you see after you sign in depends on how many Cards you manage.
If you manage one Card
- Sign in to your online dashboard. You'll land on the cardholder's Transactions tab.
- Click the Account tab on the right side of the screen.
If you manage more than one Card
- Sign in to your online dashboard. You'll land on the All Clients page, which lists every cardholder you manage.
- Find the cardholder whose Account tab you'd like to open, and click the View link in that cardholder's row. You'll be taken to that cardholder's Transactions tab.
- Click the Account tab on the right side of the screen.
To return to the full list of cardholders at any time, go back to the All Clients page.
What you'll find on the Account tab
You're now on the Account tab! Here's what you can do from this page:
- Card status – Temporarily deactivate the current Card (for example, if it's been misplaced), order a replacement, or close the Card. A temporarily deactivated Card can be reactivated from this same page.
- Cardholder information – Review and update the cardholder's address and phone number. Keeping the phone number current matters: it's where verification codes are sent when the cardholder adds the Card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Only the person listed on the account as the Authorized Legal Representative (ALR) or Authorized Individual can update cardholder information online. If you don't see the option to make changes, please contact our Customer Support team, and we'll be glad to help.
Please note that adding money to the Card isn't done from the Account tab. Money reaches the Card only through a withdrawal you initiate on the Vestwell platform. To learn how, see Transferring Funds to the Card.
