Overview
Your Visa® Prepaid Card expires on the last day of the month listed as the expiration date. For example, a card with an expiration date of 12/27 will expire on 12/31/2027. If the Visa Card associated with your account is expiring at the end of next month, you will need to order a replacement card to ensure uninterrupted spending.
How to Replace an Expiring Card
- Navigate to your Dashboard and click on the “Account” tab
-
You will see a banner indicating that the card is due to expire soon. Select the green "Yes" button
-
Follow the prompts and select “Submit” to complete the card order
Important Things to Know About Replacements for Expiring Cards
- New Card Expiration Date and CVV: For security purposes, the expiration date and CVV code will be updated for the replacement card. If you have the card information saved with a merchant (e.g. for subscription services), you may want to update the expiration date and CVV with them.
- Settings and Alerts: All current spending settings and alert preferences will automatically transfer to the replacement card..
Declining a Replacement Card and Closing the Account
If a replacement card is not needed and you wish to close the account, select "Decline replacement" next to the expiring card in your account. If you no longer need the card, select the option to Permanently close the card. This action will close the account permanently and provide options for returning any remaining card balance.
